I Can't Do Sit-Ups

Last night I decided to break open UFC Personal Trainer and see what it was like. As with all fitness games, it started off by testing my fitness level. To do this I had to do as many sit-ups, push-ups and star jumps as I could in a minute. That's three minute of exercise, can't be that hard right?
First up were the sit-ups, which I haven't tried to do for many a year, and discovered I couldn't get very far up, certainly not far enough for the Kinect to recongnise them! Push-ups came next and I was able to do a few of those, which the Kinect recognised to the most part. Then it was the star jumps which had to be done correctly or they didn't count. Co-ordination of arms and legs is not one of my strong points!
That done I decided to try a basic exercise, which involved punching small (virtual) bag.
I never intended to do a full workout, but I'm going to have to restrict my exercising till late in the night as the wife has a fire roaring most nights and it's too bloody hot to try becoming UFC fit.
It's back on the bike tomorrow, and the weather isn't looking that great.
Hopefully I'll feel up to trying out a UFC workout tonight after the fire has gone out!
